The Dawson City Music Festival is a unique two day festival in Dawson City, Yukon. It's unique strengths include "unparalleled intimacy, grassroots spirit, fabulous Klondike hospitality, and the best concerts North of 60!" (dcmf.ca).
Typeface – Inknut Antiqua Extra Bold, Work Sans
In this project, I worked to create a brand identity for an isolated, jubilant, music festival, held in Dawson City, Yukon. The Dawson City Music Festival is “Canada’s tiny, perfect Festival”. It is a humble, grassroots festival that is all things canadiana. I wanted to create a hand-made authenticity while maintaining a design that could be mass-produced. The end result was a quirky, messy, collaged design system.
